Getting to Àger

Àger is located in the north eastern part of Spain in the autonomous province of Catalunya.

International airports are located in Barcelona and Tarragona Reus. Both are approximately 2 1/2 hours transfer time by car.

By Car:

From Barcelona the best and cheapest way (ie. avoiding most tolls: there is one 2€ toll on the outskirts of Barcelona/ Martorell if you are coming from the north) is to take the NII (A2) Barcelona to Zaragoza road, also signposted to Lleida. This has recently been upgraded to motorway standard.
Exit at junction 504 and follow signs to Balaguer.
As you reach the outskirts of Balaguer you can take the right hand exit signposted Àger (and probably Tremp) which will direct you through the scenic gorges to the south east of the valley.
Alternatively, ignore this sign and to approach Àger from Port D'Àger take the turn just prior to the river where there is a sign to the bus and train stations 'estaciones' (It says Àger too but its a very small sign!) keep straight ahead until you reach the river and then follow the river north until the roundabout at the bridge. Make a left turn over the bridge and then follow the signs which lead you round to the right.
Go straight over the next roundabout and then stay on this road until you reach Àger!

Àger Camping is opposite Bar Torres on the main road - take the small street that runs past the public swimming pool entrance and then turn left along the end of the landing field.
